Have books you no longer need? List them for free in just a few steps! Simply create an account, upload details of your book, set your price, and connect with potential buyers nearby.
We help buyers and sellers connect directly. Once you find a book you’re interested in or get inquiries about your listing, you can chat, negotiate, and arrange a convenient meetup or delivery.
You deal directly with the other person. Nearby Book does not take a fee or handle payment. Meet in public when you can, and inspect the book before you pay.
Every book resold is one less book wasted. Nearby Book helps books get a second life instead of sitting unused or going to scrap.
Buy and sell stays person-to-person. The book bank is different: you give to Nearby Book, and Nearby Book gives to the person or children’s home. There is no “I have money” listing, and support rupees are never sent as cash.
A student can request one title. A children’s home or trust can request many copies. After we accept it, the book and city appear on the public board — not phone numbers or children’s names.
